PolyParadise Work-Party - March 29th

I want to thank Sarah & Twist, David & Caitlin for coming by and assisting in the PolyParadise Work-Party 2008. Without your help the job would have taken 10x longer and would not have been as much fun!!

Of course this was the first time we have touched all this stuff since returning from the Playa '07, so we had no idea what we would find. After 5 bags of garbage, tarps with mold, smelly Gray Water Filter gravel, all of the pots/pans/dishes are clean (Thank you Caitlin), bad bungees thrown away, all carpet spikes & ratchet straps separated, all things electrical together...We are about 90% done.

Still left to do, separate out the dome pieces (to get at 3 more stoves to clean), test carcass wash spray bottles, and of course go shopping for those things that need replacing...

Speaking of 1" EMT Conduit (Shade Structure) after we purchase the additional (2) 20'x20's for this year...I will have just under 2,600 Feet of the stuff...If we put our shade structures end-to-end, it would stretch 180'x20'...That is a lot of EMT Conduit and a lot of Ball Bungees...

Then we will be ready for the greatest incarnation PolyParadise has ever seen.... Again thanks to Sarah & Twist, David & Caitlin, WildChild for helping out at the annual PolyParadise Work-Party

Here are some pics to share with all of you so it can be as if you were really here with us getting Playa covered and reminiscing about Playa's past, and Dreaming of the Playa '08. http://azcompuguy.com/v-web/gallery/cleanup-2008

PolyParadise will be having its annual Work Party (Clean Scotto & WildChild's Garage & thus the PolyParadise Playa Gear) on Saturday March 29th in Phoenix, Arizona starting at 10a.....

This will be a sorting & cleaning the Playa Gear affair...making an assessment of what we have, what broke & what needs replacing.

Once we have cleaned the PP Playa Gear and are sufficiently covered in Playa Dust, there is a Hot Tub and we can PARTY!!!

WildChild & I were so grateful to Painter Dave, CactusMan, Twist & Sarah for coming by last year, we certainly hope we can entice them to come back this year.

Of course you are all welcome to come to Phoenix and join us, just drop me a line.

We promise to take lots of pics as we sort & clean the Playa Gear and get our garage in some semblance of Playa order.
