There have been comings & goings within the ranks of camps
that made up
Shangri-La Village. Camps including Liquid 'O
and Vibe Station have decided to camp elsewhere on the
Playa. The main reason driving Esplanade placement
was due to the large Stage presence of these camps.
Without them as part of the Mix, Esplanade frontage has
been dropped from the Village Plan.
Shangri-La Village will look to establish its Playa address in
the same locale as 2004. The
current plan has the Village occupying the First & Second
Ring Roads 350'x170' (Village Layout should be available
soon)
The Village will encompass the following camps:

PolyParadise
-
Camp Boy Toy
-
No Float Boat
-
Purple Turtle Play Asylum
-
Toymaker
-
Shangri-Slums
Several of the Ca. based
Mayors will be heading to San Francisco this Friday & the
BM Town Hall Meeting to make the Formal
Shangri-La Village presentation to BMORG.
We have been allocated our FULL 200' x 175'
request.
I will be submitting our Theme Camp Registration with
BMORG in the next few days. I will as well be posting
our Playa Events on the BRC Calendar, all of which will be
included in the Who, What, Where, When. So far we have 20
confirmed campers; I will be submitting a number of 50
with the registration. I am also working on a Camp
Layout. I am looking to upgrade from a simple Word
Drawing to using AutoCAD...So watch out....
There are 152 DAYS TILL WE BURN!!! 147 DAYS
till I am on the road to the Playa!!!
That means there is lots to do....Vacuum all the carpets &
kitchen flooring....Check all HCW Spray Bottles....Finish
building the Shower....Minor repairs to camping
equipment...Design the PolyParadise Sign & Create the ambiance
of the To Be Named PolySpace (With
WiLdcHiLd)....and I am sure many many more
projects...

In April Kathe, Shebang & I are headed to
XARA and
then a week later to
TOAST!
In May we will be headed to the
Joshua Tree Music Festival....Hope to see some of you at
