The Master takes aim and lets fly,
The point is sharp and deadly,
The shaft is strong and straight,
The Tailfeather guides the whole,
To whatever's the Master's goal.

When, where and why did you decide on attending:
In May of 1999 I was near Las Vegas attending Desert Blast 13, an outlaw pyro event. Several people said I should attend Burning Man because it was sorta similar. I made the decision to go soon
after.
Why do you keep going back?
I go because I can experience radical community, I can express my building skills creatively, I love being a part of something out of the ordinary, I love the freedom to be naked and the non-stop thrumming energy the people collectively create.
What projects have you been involved with?
- 1999- Hung out a lot. No projects, just digging the vibe.
- 2000- Fuzzy Philippe and I pitched Burning Man Info Radio to Harley Dubois and the BMOrg. They made space and got us gear so we gave it a shot with the help of Ramez Naam of Mez Labs.
- 2001- Worked BMIR a lot, drank a lot of beer, made some friends.
- 2002- Built a cool shade structure, ditto for a community shower. Drank even more beer. First year working with Dimitri on burn night's pyro show.
- 2003- Sundancer and I created Tranquility Bay with the help of some Poly Domes ex pats. Held a Tantric Puja. Gifted wedding photos and video to four couples getting hitched during BM. Second year doing pyro.
- 2004- Second year building TB. Third year doing pyro, this year with Sundancer by my side.
- 2005- No money, no time, no worry, no BM.
- 2006- First year with Poly Paradise! Did gray water management, did a shift or two at the Human Carcass Wash too.
What would you like to experience at Burning Man in 2007?
Let's see, I want to see and photograph more art, maybe do a wedding or two and spend some totally lazy time being out and about. Because I enjoy being a part of the community building experience at Burning Man, I would like to be a catalyst in community building in our camp.
