Why Burning Man? A nascent desire to turn on, tune in, and drop out by dropping in. Somewhat of an adventure in regaining my humor in the midst of the high desert. I'm a critic by occupation and an avatar by desire. I travel in one year more than most do in their lives. I burn out passports about every three years or so, and I like leaving the US by going to the playa, where the only passport is a sense of adventure and spirit, stamped by an immigration agent who is otherwise naked and smiling. I also have a knack for critical thinking.?

Volunteer on the Playa? I'm a freelance helper. Service with a smile. Need a ride from Reno to the Playa on the 28th? I have room for 1 or 2, depending on the gear load. Prefer nominally sane passengers. No other requirements.

Art Projects? I can only admire art. I can do many other things, but art is not one of them. I am humbled by most all I see on the playa.?

My Life? I'm the rope that holds it all together where I live. The rope is usually pulled way too tight. At times like BM, I can slacken it a bit. The pic is me, on the Autobahn, after eating a cookie at 220km/hr. I like cookies. I like reality; it smells of playa.?
