Just what is Poly High Tea?

First, it's a Tea Party. We will be serving Tea and Cookies...

All you Polyamorous, poly-curious, and poly-friendly folks out there on the playa are invited to join us for a discussion about the practical issues of loving more than one in an open, responsible multi-person relationship. There are many workable forms of Polyamorous relationship - polyamory is polymorphic! There is much wisdom in the poly community which can be helpful to people trying to make *any* relationship work, monogamous or Polyamorous. There will be a facilitated discussion in which you can get your questions addressed and some of the knowledge in our community can be shared.

If you'd like to cool off and de-dust yourself after our tea party, bring a water donation to enjoy Poly Paradise's famous Human Carcass Wash.

Human Carcass Wash


3:00-4:30pm Monday thru Sunday - Wash and be Washed...

Be part of an interactive washing experience.  

The highly regarded and much anticipated... Human Carcass Wash!!! 

Get involved with some of your closest Playa friends and some new friends in trading your old Playa Dust in for a clean body ready to be dusted once again. This event honors your stated boundaries of where you do want to be touched or washed. 

You will first participate in helping other Burning Man friends get washed by spraying them with Water, Dr. Bonners Peppermint Soap, washed with plenty of hands by your Playa neighbors, then spayed again with water and squeeged off before you depart for more Playa fun. Bring a water donation to help the process along. 

Hair washing may be available, depending on donated water resources and available PolyParadise members or other Playa friends willing to provide Hair Washing.

Greater Intimacy with HYPNOSIS

Greater Intimacy with HYPNOSIS Session 1

In this fun and interactive session we will look at hypnosis and the power of suggestion. The goal will be to achieve a greater understanding of hypnosis and how it works. Participants will have the chance to ask questions and a group hypnosis induction will give participants an opportunity to experience hypnosis first hand. We will then look at how the power of hypnosis and suggestion can be used to enhance intimacy and sensual pleasure.

Greater Intimacy with HYPNOSIS Session 2

This session builds on session one, although you may attend even if you missed the first session. Learn how to use hypnosis, suggestion and relaxation responses to enhance tactile pleasure with your partner, create intimacy and allow your sexual fantasies to come to life.

Past Life Regression Group Session

Wednesday & Friday 11:00a - 1:00p

Everyone has a karmic cycle and the better we understand it the easier it is to understand ourselves and why/how we react/respond to the world the way we do. This session will contain a general understanding of the karmic cycle, how hypnosis can help us better understand this cycle and will end with a general Past Life Regression group session.

Mind Melt

The Heart of Now

The essence of the Heart of Now is the practice of being present with your whole self. In The Heart of Now workshop, you’ll come to know yourself more deeply. You’ll discover the possibility of reconnection with your innate beauty, wholeness and be honest with yourself and and with others in a safe circle of love. You can discover those places you’ve felt stuck, while you are supported in letting go. You learn to become aware of those times when you get in your own way, and come to see the choices open to you. You embrace what you desire the most, and deeply commit to letting your dreams and your visions be more important than you past wounds. You will find yourself reconnecting with your innate beauty, wholeness and power in each moment.

Heart of Now workshops include numerous assistants to support you and to create a sacred space for transformation. A deeply nurturing environment is created. Understanding Jealousy

Jealousy is a relationship destroyer and social toxin. Whether you're monogamous, Polyamorous, celibate, or whatever, you've either experienced jealousy or been the target of jealous behaviors. By working through our own jealousy, exploring as opposed to ignoring it, we build stronger relationships and are able to live with greater generosity and joy.

Love Letter Clinic

The Love Letter Clinic is designed to help you overcome your fears and prejudices about writing and refining notes of appreciation, affection and intimate interest. What makes a powerful love letter? This workshop debunks myths and shares the key traits of a great love letter. We guarantee you will leave with at least one important piece of written intimate communication that you will be proud to give to someone for whom you have strong feelings.

Appreciate Inquiry

3:00p to 5:00p - Friday

Appreciative Inquiry is a method for drawing from the best parts of the past in order to create the future we desire. Ask deep questions, imagine what might be, write design principles for the future, and put them into action. Originally developed for working with groups, can also be applied in individual relationships or, powerfully, in how you relate with yourself.

Honest Seduction

3:00p to 5:00p - Saturday

Seduction has a bad rap. For most the word is synonymous with manipulation, deception and power-over practices. We're reclaiming seduction and rehabilitating it's tarnished name. Honest Seduction is cooperatively creating power and sparking healthy intimacy. This workshop will explore and improve your seduction skills including the first 30 seconds of meeting, interesting/exciting offers, and difficult personal disclosures. Funology

If we are going to have a successful revolution, we need to organize a better party. Not the better political party, but the better social one. Of course Burning Man is this better party on a grand scale. Funology studies parties, festivals, holidays and other celebrations through the blurry eyes of this quasi-science. Explore funological concepts such as participant "buy-in", uniting diverse crowds, developing gift and barter systems, creating an event that meets the needs of a wide range of participants, and developing self-replicating events.

AZBurner Pot Luck

AZBurner Pot Luck

This will be the 7th year that PolyParadise will host the AZBurner Pot Luck Gathering on the Playa. I am unsure as to the number of persons who will attend this event. In '07 we had over 200 people in attendance.

This event is being billed as a Pot Luck to all AZBurners, so I expect quite a few people coming over during the day to bring stuff over or to cook at our place or get things ready at our place. If you would like to contribute to this Pot Luck dinner that would be great, though it is NOT a requirement.
